Swop Tiers
The participation of the community is what makes swopping a successful and accessible alternative to shopping.
At Swop Society, our pillars of swopping are built on ensuring value for value.
The success of wardrobe rotation lies within our members parting with items which they feel would be a fair trade in and out, and leaving with items of similar trade value.
To ensure an enjoyable and valuable swopping experience at our pop-up events, we have introduced a tiering system to value your items.
Steps
Upon trade in, our team will categorise items based on the following tiers.
You will receive the amount of credits of value in each tier.
The clothing will be tagged with its credit value for easy check out with your swop wallet.
SWOP PRE-LOVED = One Credit

Pre-loved clothing still in great condition (please refer to our exchange eligibility guide).

Casual wear; Jeans, tops, dresses, leisure wear, work-wear, high-street fashion. Day to day wear.
SWOP UPSCALE = Two Credits

Items of elevated style and occasion.

Evening Dresses, Suits, Luxurious fabrics, Intricate details,
SWOP TAGS ON = Three Credits

Items that are brand new with tags on!

Those items which just missed the return date, and have been sat in the back of your wardrobe.

The item you purchased to go with that pair of shoes but that day never came
SWOP LUX = Lux for Lux only

Designer items which will be crossed checked and placed on a Luxury rail.

To ensure value for value, you may only swop from the LUX RAIL if you have traded in an item of LUX value.

Items in Lux can be swoped at the value of one-for-one.
Your wallet credits are your currency. You can check out the amount of items valued with the credits you have to spend

A member brings in 10 items
> 7 of these items are “SWOP PRE-LOVED”. These items equal 7 credits.
> 2 of these items are “SWOP TAGS ON” – branded sparkling new. These items equal 6 credits together.
> 1 item is a cocktail dress – “SWOP UPSCALE”. This item equals 2 credits.
